What do you shoot with?
I shoot exclusively with a Canon 5D mark ii body with either a 50mm 1.4 lens, 100mm 2.8 macro lens or an 85mm 1.4 lens. Prior to 2017, I shot with a Panasonic Lumix bridge camera with a 2.8 zoom lens. Visit here to see what’s currently in my camera bag!
Did you study photography formally?
I am a self taught photographer; it’s a passion I never knew I had!
Do you use a preset?
Each image is edited by hand and I don’t use a preset at the moment. I shoot exclusively with natural light in various locations, and enjoy editing according to the unique conditions of each shoot.
Have you always eaten plant-based?
I started eating plant-based 13 years ago after completing my university degree. Since then, I’ve also encompassed a more holistic approach to my food by eating seasonally and with minimally processed ingredients.
Where did you learn to garden?
I learned the basics of gardening from my parents. However, most of what I know now is due to the countless hours I spend reading, researching and learning for myself. I have been organic gardening for the last 8 years and I firmly believe you can never know it all…I am constantly learning about plant varieties, new techniques and ways to grow more efficiently and sustainably.
Are you available for hired photography work or food styling and what are your rates?
Absolutely! Feel free to contact me with the details of your project or to discuss ideas. I work with both large and small business so don’t hesitate to get in touch anytime.
Are you available for sponsored posts?
Yes! Please contact me to see if working together would be a good fit. I’d especially love to work with you if you’re into plant-based and organic foods, sustainable living, or organic gardening.
Can I share your images or recipes?
Yes, but please contact me first to make a request if you wish to share one of my images. I am typically ok with sharing an image, a short summary and a link back to my original post, however, send me a quick email to make a request in advance. Syndication or republication of any work on this site without permission is technically a copyright infringement, so…be kind 🙂 If you simply want to link to one of my posts, feel free to do so anytime!
