    FAQs

a head on image of a baker holding a chocolate cake on a wood board.

    What do you shoot with?

I shoot with a Canon 5D mark ii body with either a 50mm 1.4 lens,  100mm 2.8 macro lens or an 85mm 1.4 lens. Prior to 2017, I shot with a Panasonic Lumix bridge camera with a 2.8 zoom lens. Visit here to see what’s currently in my camera bag!

    Do you use/have a preset?

     Not at the moment.

Are you available for hired photography or food styling?

Yes! Contact me with the details of your project or to discuss ideas. I work with both large and small business alike and have worked with brands such as Vitamix, Lacanche Canada, All-Clad, and others. Visit my portfolio to see more.

Are you available for sponsored posts?

Yes! Please contact me to see if working together would be a good fit.

Can I share your images or recipes?

Sharing a recipe image, a short summary and a link back to the original post is not an issue, however, syndication or republication of any work on this site (recipes, images, or posts etc.)  without permission is technically a copyright infringement. If you simply want to link to one of my posts, feel free to do so.

Have you always eaten plant-based? Is your family vegan?

I started eating plant-based 15 years ago after finishing my university degree. Since then, I've also encompassed a more holistic approach to my food by eating seasonally and with minimally processed ingredients as much as possible. My son does not eat exclusively plant-based, however the vast majority of his meals are (same goes for my husband).

How did you learn to garden?

The basics were taught to me by my parents, however, most of what I know now is from trial and error over the last 10 years.  I spend a fair amount of time in self directed study and am constantly learning new techniques and ways to grow more efficiently and sustainably.
